Your Cohost started as a personal solution to a challenge many people face. I was looking for ways to make extra income to save for a down payment on my home, while also helping my parents manage their short term rental properties. They had renovated a historic building and listed two condo units, but balancing their businesses and managing the properties became overwhelming. Traditional property management options didn’t suit them—they needed help but couldn’t afford to lose the profit they relied on. That’s when I realized I could offer something different.
In 2022, after sitting down with my mom to outline everything she needed help with, it became clear that there were many people in similar situations—entrepreneurs, people using short term rentals to cover their mortgage or living expenses, and those who had moved away but wanted to keep their homes. They needed flexible support without sacrificing the integrity of their properties or the guest experience. With my background in short term rental hosting, property management, and hospitality, I knew I could fill this gap.
What started as a side project to help my family quickly became my passion. After a year of running Your Cohost alongside my corporate job, I realized that I was making a bigger impact here—helping people who rely on their properties for income while maintaining the quality of guest experiences. I decided to fully dedicate myself to building a company that offers property owners full-time, part-time, or one-off help, tailored to their specific needs.
At Your Cohost, we work with clients who share our commitment to maintaining the character of their homes and neighborhoods. For us, it’s not just about managing properties—it’s about delivering exceptional guest experiences while preserving the community’s integrity.
Thank you for being part of our story.
